Southern Utah makes efforts to save condors from lead poisoning

    (KUTV) Condor birds are getting poisoned, eating animal remains from hunters using lead-based bullets.

    Wildlife experts catch the birds and blood test them for the poison.

    Once the condors are in good health, they are released back to the wild.

    Authorities are asking hunters to stop using lead-based bullets and leaving animal remains behind.
