Suspected DUI driver crashes car into TRAX train, UTA bus
(KUTV) -- A driver crashed a vehicle into a TRAX train and a UTA bus while allegedly driving under the influence Monday afternoon, according to UTA spokesperson Carl Arky.
Around 1:30 p.m., the vehicle hopped the curb and struck the last car of the TRAX train near 600 W and 200 South.
The impact of the crash pushed the vehicle into the back end of a UTA bus.
No passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident. No one on the TRAX train was injured, Arky said.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured, but is suspected of driving under the influence.
