Teen shot in SLC, police suspect it's gang related

(KUTV) A teen was shot in the chest in Salt Lake City Tuesday evening and police say it may be gang related. The 16-year-old is in stable condition.

The shooting happened just before 7 p.m. near Ivy Circle and Riverside Drive in a neighborhood west of the Jordan River and east of the Salt Lake International airport according to Salt Lake police.

Investigators are looking for a red, four-door sedan with four men inside who they say may have been involved in the shooting. Investigators included officers from the gang unit.
