    Wasatch County Search and Rescue treated three people who fell through the ice while snowmobiling on top of the ice at Strawberry Reservoir.

    Search and rescue crews were called out to the incident which happened at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

    The rescue operation took approximately three hours.

    According to Wasatch County Search and Rescue, the three people were on two snowmobiles.

    A man driving one was followed by a husband and his wife on another.

    Both fell through the ice on a spot on the reservoir with little ice coverage, according to search and rescue crews.

    " After going into the lake - sleds and all, they were able to self rescue and get a call out for help," Wasatch County Search and Rescue said on social media. "All parties were treated by Wasatch EMS. However, the snowmobiles were not so lucky."

    Wasatch County Search and Rescue warns that the ice on the lake is not uniform and some areas are still dangerous.
