Truck with Utah license plates plows through border security

(KUTV) — An American driver was arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border after trying to bust through border security on Monday.

An altercation with a knife ensued before the driver attempted to escape the Mexican authorities, according to a Facebook post published by the Secretary of Public Safety Tijuana.

The driver hit 17 vehicles, 14 mobile street positions and five people with the black Chevy truck. The victims' conditions are unknown at this time.

The driver was taken into custody, according to the Facebook post.

Authorities are investigating if the vehicle that has Utah license plates was stolen or not.
