SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Two different incidents of road rage are being investigated by Salt Lake City police, one of which involved a shooting where a man suffered from non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials with the Salt Lake City Police Department said they received calls of a dispute between two drivers in the area of 800 South West Temple Street on Tuesday.
According to a press release by SLCPD, officers arrived at the scene and spoke with a victim.
"During the investigation, officers learned the suspect swerved across the road and pulled in front of the victim, blocking their car," officials said.
Police said the suspect then again blocked the victim's car when they attempted to leave. The driver, later identified as 40-year-old Thomas McGovern allegedly backed into the victim's car.
