(KUTV) — Both drivers involved in a crash on Highway 6 early Friday morning have died, the Utah Highway Patrol announced.
At approximately 7:25 a.m., a Ford 150 was collided head-on with a Toyota Camry, UHP said.
The driver of the Camry died at the scene, while the other driver died after being transported from the scene.
Police identified the deceased Camry driver as Jim R. Nelson, 37, of Price.
The deceased driver of the Ford was identified as William James T. Palmer, 33, of Moab.
UHP believes fog may have been a reason for the crash.
The road was closed while crews worked to clean up debris from the crash, but was re-opened later in the day.
The Wellington Police Department issued a warning to drivers following the accident.
"The Wellington Police would like to take a moment to remind everyone to please drive safely, watch your speed and buckle up," the department said.
