SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The University of Utah, already a boss-level contender in the serious business of video games, has now earned the high score among public schools.
The top public-school ranking goes along with a number five ranking among all schools, public or private. The high score is courtesy of Animation Career Review, released March 3 for the Entertainment Arts & Engineering program, under the university's College of Engineering.

The ranking is the site's 10 annual look at schools. It was was slot lower in both categories, representing a level up in the latest report.
“This is a remarkable ranking,” EAE Director Michael Young said. "I couldn't be more thrilled."
The Princeton Review also gave the University of Utah program high marks, slotting it second for private schools and fifth overall.
