(KUTV) — The Utah Department of Transportation is conducting a State Environmental Study Reevaluation of a Bangerter Highway underpass, and it's asking for the public's review.
UDOT is conducting an SES Reevaluation to evaluate the potential benefits and impacts for an underpass of Bangerter Highway at 10400 South in South Jordan.
People are invited to attend a public hearing to review the draft SES Reevaluation and gather information on the next steps leading to construction, which is scheduled to begin in spring 2020.
A copy of the draft will be available on the study's website. The public hearing will be in South Jordan Middle School's gymnasium on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Public comments will be accepted during the hearing or can be submitted on the project's website, or by email at bangerter@utah.gov through June 7.
