SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Utah Highway Patrol made 22 DUI arrests on Saturday night during its holiday DUI blitz.
UHP tweeted out Sunday morning that the agency made 22 DUI arrests during its St. Patrick's Day weekend DUI blitz.
The DUI blitz began Saturday night, where UHP added 75 officers to monitor the state's highways for the holiday weekend.
According to department data, there were 30 DUI arrests made in Utah on St. Patrick's Day, where most came from the greater Salt Lake City area.
UHP is expected to have the final count of DUI arrests for St. Patrick's Day weekend on Monday morning.
