(KUTV) -- Federal marshals arrested a man charged with lighting himself on fire in a Kaysville gas station, resulting in injuries to four Kaysville Police officers earlier this year.

Tyler Ivison, 26, was booked into the Davis County Jail Wednesday night on a warrant for aggravated arson.

Ivison reportedly doused himself in gasoline on April 5 in the bathroom of a Top Stop gas station on 200 North in Kaysville. Officers confronted Ivison and were struggling with him for a lighter in his hand when a spark ignited.

Ivison and four officers survived, but were severely burned.

In August, Davis County prosecutors charged Ivison with aggravated arson, a first degree felony, and four counts of assault against a police officer, criminal mischief, and assaulting a health care provider.

A warrant was issued for Ivison on August 30. A court date for him has not been set.

In April, Ivison’s family told 2News he has battled with mental health issues before the incident in the gas station bathroom.
