(KUTV)- The Disability Law Center demonstrated new voting equipment that counties across Utah will soon begin using.

The public was able to ask the vendor and elections director questions about how votes are counted and what counties do to ensure that your vote is private during the demonstration.

The Utah Disability Law Center's mission is to "to enforce and strengthen laws that protect the opportunities, choices and legal rights of people with disabilities in Utah."

The public demonstration was sponsored by REV UP Utah. The REV UP Campaign aims to increase the political power of the disability community while also engaging candidates and the media on disability issues.
