Utah high school students still have a chance to win Hamilton tickets
(KUTV)- Utah high school students still have a chance to win the hottest tickets in town to the sold-out musical, Hamilton.
Following the lead of Alexander Hamilton, students in grades 9-12 can enter a random drawing to see Hamilton in Salt Lake City on either April 19 or the 21.
To enter the drawing, students must write a letter elected officials describing an issue they are passionate about and propose a solution for the legislators.
The Hamilton ticket contest is part of the New Nation Project, which is intended to give everyone in Utah the opportunity to become involved in the excitement surrounding the arrival of the hit Broadway musical in Utah.
Student winners will be drawn randomly from qualified entries, with two students each winning a ticket per state House and state Senate district. There will also be tickets for students in Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County council districts.
Entry forms and additional details can be found at the New Nation Project website.
