Utah school bus catches fire mid-transit, no injuries reported

(KUTV) — A school bus caught fire Friday afternoon mid-transit, according to the Granite School District.

The district tweeted that no students were on board when the bus caught fire, and that the drive got out unharmed.

A replacement bus was sent to complete the routes and is running on time. Unified Police will investigate the cause of the fire.

Students from the Granite School District, in good humor, took to Twitter to make light the situation.
