(KUTV) -- A white passenger car landed on top of another vehicle in a crash on northbound Interstate 15 in Draper.
The crash occurred alongside Minuteman Drive near the Utah Division of Motor Vehicles.
Witnesses at the scene told 2News that the white vehicle on top was slowing down in traffic. The silver vehicle on the bottom did not stop and ran into the white vehicle. The silver vehicle ended up on top of the white car.
"You have to keep a distance in front of you depending on your speed," said Sgt. Chad Heckur, with the Utah High Patrol. "Generally it's a car length for every 10 miles per hour you're traveling."
One person was transported to the hospital for precautionary reasons. The people involved had no serious injuries, according to Heckur.
At least three cars were involved in the crash, possibly four, Heckur added.
Citations were issued to some of the drivers in the collision. Everyone appeared to have been wearing a seat belt and no one was impaired, Heckur said.
