(KUTV) Traffic in Park City is being rerouted after a water main break flooded streets and damaged one house this afternoon.
Authorities say traffic is being rerouted one block in each direction around Park Avenue and Heber Avenue.
According to officials, the water was found near condos by Park Avenue and Heber around 3 p.m. this afternoon.
Sources say the water main was leaking around 12 gallons per minute and leaked for about 20 minutes before being shut off.
Reports say water was shut off for an hour on the west side of Woodside Avenue between 6th and 15th streets, affecting multiple condos, as well as one restaurant and bar. One unit in the area was damaged.
Water has since been restored to all but one home
City officials say they will work through the night to determine the cause of the break, though they suggest old age, high altitude, and cold temperatures may be factors.
Businesses on Main Street were not affected.
