White Christmas is a possibility for 5th consecutive year
Could there be a winter storm bringing a white Christmas to Utahns along the Wasatch Front?
The National Weather Service reports that there's a weather pattern continuing to remain active for the West Coast and Intermountain West as two separate events affect the region.
The first is ongoing with a Pacific cold front bringing widespread rain and mountain snow from central California to the northern Rockies. Whether that will continue through Christmas is yet to be determined.
However, 2News meteorologist Chase Thomason believes there's a chance we will see snow, as we have for the past four years.
