(KUTV) — A 24-year-old woman will be in court after she allegedly yelled three times during a session of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' General Conference.
Crystal Legionaires is facing one count of disrupting a meeting or procession, a class B misdemeanor, court documents state.
A witness told police that on March 30, 2018 he heard Legionaries yell loudly three times during the General Conference session.
The video below is said to be Legionaires yelling at conference. Her voice is faint.
Several other witnesses corroborated the story and said they removed Legionaires from the scene.
Legionaries told police she made the statements, but denied she had done so with the intent to interrupt the proceedings.
Court documents state several witnesses and the David Miles, the Conference Center event manager, will testify at the trial.
She pleaded not guilty to the charge on Nov. 8, 2018.
