(KUTV) - Elon Musk took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to comment on the Utah Tesla traffic accident and its coverage.

Musk, however, was impressed with the fact that the Tesla driver only had a broken ankle as a result of the accident.

On Monday afternoon, police said that the Tesla driver admitted she was using the Autopilot feature when her car crashed into the back of a Unified Fire Authority vehicle. The 28-year-old driver from Lehi also admitted to looking at her phone before the accident occurred, despite several warnings in the Tesla Owner's Manual to never depending on Autoseer to avoid collision.

Musk did not comment on the Autopilot feature that has also been engaged during other horrific accidents across the country.

A Tesla spokesperson stated that Tesla "has not yet received any data from the car" and "thus does not know the facts of what occurred, including whether Autopilot was engaged."

Police and Tesla are currently working together to gather information and data from the vehicle to determine if the Autopilot feature was engaged during the crash
