The shooter has been identified as 41-year-old Jorge Rodriguez. He was married to the woman.

A love triangle shooting west of downtown Las Vegas left two men dead and a woman with wounds in both legs early Saturday.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded at 7:27 a.m. to Ethel Pearson Park at Washington and D streets just west of Interstate 15.

A husband used his car to ram a man and his vehicle, got out and shot the man in the head at close range. He then turned the gun on his wife, shooting her in both legs. The suspect then shot himself in the head, according to Lt. Dan McGrath.

Police said the boyfriend/girlfriend were at the park when the husband arrived with the car ramming and gunshots all occurring in a rapid sequence.

The woman was transported to UMC and is expected to survive, McGrath said.

The Clark County coroner will release the name of the deceased after relatives have been notified.
