Investigators are looking for two armed robbers who are using Halloween masks in their crimes.

According to the Marion County Sheriff's Office, one robber uses a Freddy Krueger mask and the other dons the infamous "Scream" mask.

The two are accused of committing a series of armed robberies and an attempted armed robbery in the Ocala area last week.

One armed robbery happened Oct. 16 at a Pizza Hut on Maricamp Road. Three days later, authorities said the duo tried to rob the Super 8 Motel on West Silver Springs Boulevard. The sheriff's office said the armed robbers couldn't get through the locked doors of the hotel so they took off. That same night, investigators said the masked individuals held up the Krystals on SW College Road.

Investigators say one robber threatens employees with a weapon while the partner gathers all the money in a bag. Detectives have not said how much money the armed robbers made off with.

Call Crime Stoppers at 352-368-7867 if you have any information about the armed robberies.
