Fun is Found at Bear Lake State Park
Located just below the Utah-Idaho border in Rich County - a land that, as the name suggests is "rich" with outdoor opportunities.

Widely considered to be home to one of the best beaches in Utah, Bear Lake State Park sure lives up to its reputation. With gorgeous blue waters and warm sandy beaches, first-time visitors can often be taken aback; this is a sight many have only scene in postcards and Hollywood films.
For those looking for an authentic beach experience, visit Rendezvous Beach, located on the south end of the lake. This beach is family-friends, with a gradual shoreline that caters to those both young and old who may be looking for some fun-in-the-sun.
This beach has an entire area buoyed off specifically for swimmers, so you can enjoy your time in these cool blue waters without worry - save the occasional family splash fight.
Because of the sandy and forgiving shoreline, fishermen looking to cast out a line would be better spent heading over to Cisco Beach on the Eastside area for the best fishing the park has to offer; even in the winter time. Cisco fish fry anyone?
Cisco Beach is also known for excellent inland water scuba diving opportunities. The rocky bottom and the steep drop-off close to shore make this location a favorite of divers from the tri-state area.
Get all the way to the lake and realize you forgot your water toys? No problem! Bear Lake Funtime has plenty of rentals for you to choose from to ensure your day on the lake is one you'll remember forever. Located in all three areas of the lake, you can pick from their selection of boats, personal water crafts, paddle boards, and even ATVs.
Feel like getting away from the lake for the day and hopping on your OHV? While the park does not have any OHV-specific trails, there are several riding areas nearby. Head up the Garden City, Temple, and Hodges Canyons for access to some of the US Forest Service trails along parts of the Logan Canyon.
While you're here, be sure to get in some tee-time in. Check out the Bear Lake Golf Course. With 9 regulations holes and a course rating of 36.1 this is the course for you. From the longest tees it presents 3,376 yards of golf for a par of 36. The course was designed by William H. Neff, ASGCA and opened in 1971.
Looking for some extra fun summer activities? Come by Garden City on Aug. 4-6 for this year's Raspberry Days celebration. This celebration consists of three raspberry themed days packed with activities like the Little Miss Berry Pageant, a craft fare, parade, rodeo, 5k run and even a pancake breakfast.
