The Earth’s actual North Pole might be well over 3,000 miles away, but you don’t have to drive far to pay a visit to Santa’s Workshop. Visit Evanston, WY on Saturday, November 18 to stop by Santa’s Workshop, a holiday marketplace full of unique local creations and tons of opportunities for family fun.
The event is a fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 911 that will run from 9 am to 4pm. Over 100 local artisans and businesses come to share and sell their creations, there are plenty of food vendors too. If some of the people on your holiday list have you stumped, a day at Santa’s Workshop gives you a shot at finding special handcrafted gifts for all of the different personalities on your list.
Santa Claus himself will also be visiting between 10 am and 2 pm. Even though it’s a very busy time of year for Mr. Claus, he has graciously made himself available for pictures, gift requests and other forms of holiday merriment.
Those who attend will also have a chance to see the Festival of Trees between 9 am and 4 pm on Roundhouse’s Mezzanine. Designers decorate trees that are displayed for all to enjoy then sold through a silent auction. The proceeds benefit local charities and the trees are beautiful to behold. With themes ranging from “Fishing” to “Winter Wonderland” to “The Grinch,” there are trees that will delight all ages.
Come to the Evanston Machine Shop and Round House Complex to soak in the holiday spirit while supporting local vendors, helping the Boy Scouts and taking care of some shopping! To learn more, visit santasworkshopwy.com.
