(KUTV) - It will be East Lehi vs West Lehi in the Class 5A Championship game. Skyridge erased a 26-7 deficit and rallied to beat previously undefeated Corner Canyon 34-33.

Lehi’s defense gave up 75 yard touchdowns on each of the first two plays, but then settled down and helped the Pioneers beat Springville 41-21.

Lehi will be in the title game for the first time since 2000, while Skyridge, a 2nd year school built because of explosive growth in Lehi, will be in the championship game for the first time.

In Class 4A, Mountain Crest beat Stansbury for the second time this season, 17-7 to advance to the 4A championship game.

Friday’s playoff tripleheader begins at Rice-Eccles Stadium at 11am with East facing Lone Peak. Bingham and Herriman play at 2:30. Both 6A semifinals can be watched live on KJZZ and KMYU. Skyview and Orem play a 4A semifinal at 6pm. See the highlights on KUTV 2News at 10 and KMYU Talkin’ Sports.
