Prep of the Week: Spanish Fork’s Jordyn Bate
(KUTV) - For high school students, the Spring means vacation time is drawing near. For high school athlete, especially Seniors, it means leaving behind your legacy with a bang! Over at Spanish Fork High School, the Don’s softball team is trying to pull off the very rare, very special state title “four-peat,” as Don Andrew’s program has cemented itself as one of the best in the state for a long time running. One of their Seniors is Jordyn Bate, who is a power hitter first, and their ace pitcher second. Jordyn’s contributions to the program began as a Freshman, and with a strong work ethic she’s improved gradually with every passing season. Jordyn’s calm demeanor allows her to perform incredibly well under pressure, and she’s already signed-on to play collegiately at SLCC after she graduates. Folks, give it up for another great local kid doing big things in their element right here!
