Mountain Resort Forecast & Conditions: January 23-26

The weather will be quiet and cold at all ski resorts around the state Thursday. Skies will be sunny and temperatures will top out in the upper teens.

By Friday, clouds will begin to increase and a few scattered snow showers could pop up in the northern mountains by afternoon and evening. This is ahead of our next storm which will move through the region Saturday through Sunday.

Widespread snow is expected at the northern ski resorts on Saturday. It will snow most of the day.

A few isolated snow showers will continue into early Sunday morning up north, but the focus will really shift into southern Utah for the rest of Sunday. The southern ski resorts will likely pick up a quick couple inches of snow toward the end of the weekend while the northern resorts dry out.
